The only things we need to confirm attendance for are the things below that require advance tickets. 

  • Friday - Busch Gardens and the Food and Wine Festival

  • Saturday - Colonial Williamsburg & Ghost Tour

  • Thursday June 6th ARRIVAL

    Everyone arrives and checks into the Marriott Manor Club at Ford's Colony. Depending when everyone arrives and how you're feeling, we can do dinner to kick off the weekend , or not.

    Friday June 7th

    Start off the day with a light breakfast at Aromas Specialty Coffees and Cafe. Check out the surrounding Merchants Square and then head off to Busch Gardens Wine and Food Festival. 

    • 10am - Aromas Specialty Coffee and Cafe -Try the Honey Do Latte and have a light breakfast. 17 min drive

    • 11:30 am - 6pm - Enjoy the day at Busch Gardens, but don't get too worn out! Head back to the hotel whenever we please. 11 min drive 

    • 7pm - Back at the hotel to wind down.21 in drive

    Aromas is a wonderful café, a place to sit and enjoy the ebb and flow of life in this wonderful city of Williamsburg. Aromas sits downtown on Prince George Street right on the northern edge of Colonial Williamsburg's Merchants Square.

    Sip, Savor and Soar at Busch Gardens Food & Wine Festival

    Flavors are in full bloom this spring as Busch Gardens’ Food & Wine Festival returns on Thursdays through Sundays.


    Explore over 150 international flavors at eighteen themed food and beverage locations throughout the park, including NEW menus inspired by Africa and Turkey. With over 85 NEW specialty menu options, and exclusive wine and liquor tastings,

    Saturday June 8th

    Start off the day meeting at about 9 am at Bert's villa for a continental breakfast of coffee, macchiatos, toast and eggs.

    From there we depart to check out Colonial Willamsburg for a half day to visit guided sites, historic trades, and gardens, as well as staged performances on the Charlton Stage and in the Hennage Auditorium and expanded Art Museums collections

    • 9 am - 10 am - Breakfast at Lili and Bert's place. 

    • 10:30 am - 3 pm - Colonial Williamsburg is rated #1 thing to do in Williamsburg, and is open 9 am to 5 PM. There everybody can get snacks and lunch. 16 min drive.

    • 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm. Go back to the resort and chill for a bit before going to dinner. 16 min drive.

    • 5:45 pm - 7:00 pm. Dinner at the Blue Talon Bistro. 17 min drive.

    • 8 pm - 9:45 pm. Ghost Tour! 1 mile, 17 min walk down the historial, foot traffic only, street.

    10:30 am - 3 pm

    Colonial Williamsburg, a 301-acre living history museum, brings travelers back in time to colonial Virginia through immersive experiences, historical reenactments, museums, and events.

    3:30 pm - 5:30 pm

    Back to the resort to relax and recharge before dinner

    5:45pm - 7:00 pm

    Chef Everett has been determined since we opened to offer a combination of what he refers to as “serious comfort food”. These are dishes, both from the French Bistro tradition and from more American roots, that are designed to highlight the rich, fulfilling flavors of classic dishes.

    Immerse yourself in the atmospheric setting of Colonial Williamsburg after dark—and learn all about the real-life murders, executions, and other sordid events that happened here—on this nighttime ghost tour.

    Sunday June 9th

    Sleep in a bit and meet at 11am at Gabriel Archer Tavern , located at the Williamsburg Winery for brunch.  Try a wine flight and check out the winery after brunch, then head on over for some fun at Jamestown Settlement (closes 5 pm). Visit and explore Merchants Square Dinner at Berret’s Seafood Restaurant and Taphouse Grill

    • 11 am - 1pm - Brunch at Gabriel Archer Tavern and Winery. 20 minute drive 

    • 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm. Jamestown Settlement - a great place to stroll around, hands on history, demonstrations and a peak into colonial life. 12 min drive

    • 3:30 pm Back to the resort to freshen up for dinner. 20 min drive 

    • 6:00 pm - 7:15 pm. Goodbye dinner! Francesco's Ristorante Italiano. 11 min drive

    Explore stories of our early history through immersive galleries and engaging outdoor experiences for all ages.

    Francesco's Ristorante Italiano

    Francesco's is unassuming and not a fancy venue, but the food is WOW. A full menu Italian restaurant specializing in mouthwatering pizzas and gourmet entrees.  Try their famous Veal Estate or something with their pink alfredo sauce!
