💡 Dad's Travel Recommendations

• Check in with the hotel concierge right away. They know the best restaurants, local experiences, transportation options, and sometimes have access to discounts. Plus—they love to help.
• Use local ATMs for cash. The best way to get euros is through your debit card at an ATM inside a bank. This avoids high exchange fees.
• Use Uber when possible. It's available in most cities, but not on the Amalfi Coast. In those areas, taxis are the norm—just be cautious, as some may overcharge tourists. If you do take a taxi, keep Google Maps open so you can follow along and make sure you're not being driven in circles to rack up the fare.
